接力泵是用于水平输送距离较远，需要在其输送管道上增加压力的泵，采用进出口快速接头，方便使用。 接力泵用在排涝时水带输送过长，造成压力流量不够而增压的泵。远距离输送，每增加100米输送距离，至少要使用同样流量，而扬程为7米的增压接力泵。
